La Plaine
LA PLAINE, a new land in which to breathe wide, to redeploy the field of possibilities, is the latest creation from Absolu Théâtre. Nine poets join forces to give voice to this new territory, nine voices of contemporary French-language poetry: Jean D'Amérique, Aurélien Dony, Marc Dugardin, Maud Joiret, Lisette Lombé, Mel Moya, Camille Pier, Jérémie Tholomé and Laurence Vielle // nine previously unpublished poems to sketch out the contours of this utopia within the reach of words. Writing the possible on the edge of words. To the live music of Jérôme Paque (electric guitar) and Céline Chappuis (cello), Charly Simon and Benjamin Gisaro give shape to LA PLAINE, dancing on the bare stage of the theater. Together, they unfold minute after minute the poem from which hills, rivers and wide-open territories of new memories spring. An invitation to catch your breath in a world sorely lacking in it.
